A foundation is an in-ground block of concrete to help keep your memorial level and stable for generations to come. Foundations lay flat, level with the ground. Your memorial stone is placed directly on top of this foundation. Unless asked otherwise, we will add the price of your foundation to your total price so we are able to pay the foundation fee to the coordinating cemetery. This allows us to take care of this service through your cemetery for you, without you worrying about it. Foundations are typically set in cemeteries long before your monument arrives. The cost, or foundation fee, and time of placement depends on cemetery rules and regulations.
